Sykeke Learning Academy Makes Virtual Learning Fun!

“Love this class and Mr. Whipple. He is so fun and engaging and his laughter is contagious. He makes kindergarten and learning so much fun and just lets the kids be kids which is awesome. My daughter enjoys his class, is all smiles, and it is type of class where I don't have to wonder what she learned or hover over her like a helicopter. There is no unnecessary muting and silencing and he is so open when it comes to his style of learning and very encouraging, laughing and joking with the kids when they ask silly and/or make silly answers and then explains the correct way that is not demeaning but amusing, agreeable, and entertaining. Little kids are supposed to giggle and squirm and should just enjoy learning which he allows and still keeps his classroom under control. He is personality is one that captures the attention of the kids and is why I think they just follow along so easily. He is also very good with communicating with parents and constantly checking in on his students. During one class, my daughter was just having a bad day and he messaged me right after to check in and to ask if there was anything he could do to make sure she was happy and comfortable for next class or what she likes to maybe help change her mood during class time if it were to happen again. This is something I personally love and is one of the main reason we are sticking with Mr. Whipple besides him being an awesome and knowledgeable teacher!!!! Truly one of a kind”

“I cannot say enough good things about Riley! My daughter had him her whole Kindergarten year. A lot of us parents wanted him to continue on with a first-grade class and here we are. My daughter has been asking all summer when class with Mr. Riley would start again. She was so excited to start class this past Monday and was so happy when she came into class and also saw some of her friends from Kinder there too. Riley is the absolute best! He really is. My daughter has absolutely fallen in love with learning thanx to Riley. He is so great with them. He's energetic and funny and knows how to keep all of the kids focused and engaged in class. And the kids interact SO WELL together. My daughter took off with learning because of Riley and never stopped. She loves doing schoolwork and reading all the time. She has learned SO MUCH! So thankful we found Riley. He is simply the best and I hope we'll be able to talk him into Second-grade next year =)”

“This class started a week ago and my daughter absolutely LOVES it! We homeschool so this class is part of her Kindergarten homeschool curriculum. I wasn’t sure she would sit through it and stay focused but Mr. Whipple is so great at holding the kids attention. My daughter is so excited for class with her teacher and her friends. The students are very interactive with each other which is so great. And since class started a week ago, she has been walking around everyday pointing out the letters they’ve gone over in classes and saying the sounds she has learned and it’s clicking in her head what words she knows with those letters/sounds. Definitely recommend.”

“Mr. Riley is our favorite teacher we have come across on Outschool, we have been using outschool for various classes for our 6, 10, and 13 year old and enjoyed many classes. That being said Mr. Riley has had the best classroom feel our kids have had, he does a great job keeping the kids engaged, actually being taught something, and most importantly makes them feel recognized and understood. We can only hope to have Mr. Riley see our goo goo babies through the rest of their elementary years.”

“Riley is the BEST! He is beyond patient with my crazy, loud, obnoxious 5-year-old. His curriculum is engaging and fun. My son uses the songs and rhymes that he learns in class every day. Riley's classes fill up and if he has an opening do not pass up the opportunity to have your child learn from him. We've worked with a few teachers and Riley is by far the best teacher we have had on Outschool.”

“Riley's classes tend to sell out so I HIGHLY recommend booking when you can, adding to waitlist, and snag his 2026 small Summer groups while you can. Seriously, your Minecraft gamer (novice or experienced) will not want to miss out on this game time!! Riley is absolutely amazing with the kids. My son is generally shy but Riley creates an environment where he enjoys engaging with the group and just has a lot of fun. They share really cool ideas, engineer builds, and engage in healthy playful in-game rivalry which has enhanced my son's ability to deal with conflict, resolution, and resilience in a safe forum. I thought I was only buying Minecraft sessions but with Riley's planning and supervision my son has also gained confidence and resilience, all while having fun with kids his age. Worth EVERY CENT. We have tried other Outschool Minecraft hangouts when our sports schedule conflicts with Riley's available sessions, but none of them have been as fun and engaging for my son. I absolutely recommend Riley's class!”
